Guest guest
I put in a phone call today to neurologist to see what the latest is. Well, they came back with pretty much what I anticipated. The secretary said the results showed, " severe damage to L4 and L5 area, the doctor who read the MRI came back with saying I now have lower lumbar stenosis. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what the previous report said a few years back. I am curious to know if this issue could have been avoided instead of going through the long line of constant steroid shots and physical therapy with no success. At any rate, What I'm reading is the only cure to correct this is going through the same thing again and I raise questions on these epidurals as they did no benefit before, why should I do it again. My second question is if none of this worked prior and we're looking at the same issue do we try the same thing knowing it may come to fail or do we look at another route? The only question I didn't ask the gal I spoke with today was what the disc looked like and if it still was fissured or if it actually did heal. I'll find out more about that when I speak with her later on in the week. SueLynn
