Guest guest
If you have your stitches removed, try something called Prefer On. That is what I used after I had my Vagus Nerve Stimulator done and it did work. Something that you need to realize is when it itches that does mean that the area is healing which is good. The important thing is not to scratch it because that can cause an infection. I know you're hearing everything others have said to you for recovery when you were in the hospital. The fact is, when I was in the hospital for my VNS surgery, I was told the same thing except they did not mention anything to me about the Prefer On, that was brought up after the fact from my neurologist as something to use and a friend actually mentioned it to me as well. It does work for removing the itch and it also helps for removing the pinkish color of the scar. -SueLynn
Guest guest
Is this something you can get over the counter? I am doing ok with the Emu and Benadryl right now but if it gets bad again I might need this. Re:incision itching driving me nuts If you have your stitches removed, try something called Prefer On.
