Yes, call every news paper, TV station, everyone you can. Call you

Congressman and tell him that you husband would love to call you but he can't

because he was ordered not too. Remember, they can't order you to do

anything! By the way, that order is illegal.

This is true. Contact with your congressional representative is always

authorized. Ensure that your congressional representative is aware that he

was told this.

Dear Mrs. Proffitt,

I would strongly advise you to contact the media. It would be best

that your husband NOT be the one to contact the media. When Rob was in

a similiar situation, I had to be the one to contact, notify, and work

with the media...it worked, too. Within 20 days from his first refusal

he was discharged. If you would like me to assist you in contacting

the media, please feel free to email me or call me. I completely

understand what you must be feeling. Please consider me a friend.

Most Sincerely, Dora

Christi: Hang in there!!! You're husband has a college degree. The

civilians are happy to take that,... and you don't even have to take a

questionable vaccine for the sake of low pay!! You guys go... and get on

with your lives. You will survive, and regarldess, your lives will be

healthy. Not to mention, with the press this stupid vaccine is getting,

civilians in my opinion, will not give one flying iota about a " dishonorable "

discharge for refusing to put poison in ones body. A smart decision was

made, now go live life.

We did contact the media when he received his article 15. We have not

spoken to anyone since. Due to him not receiving any pay, we don't

have a telephone. Please feel free to contact me through e-mail.

Thank you for all your support.

Bad US Anthrax Vaccine

Given To Canadian

Troops Stirs Firestorm

2-5-99

TORONTO (CP) -- Defence Minister Art Eggleton's claims that an anthrax

vaccine was tested before being given to Canadian troops were denied by an

American firm which said it only reviewed data produced by the drug

manufacturer, CTV News reported Wednesday.

Earlier in the day in the Commons, Eggleton, who was under attack by the

opposition, said the vaccine was " fully tested " by " our medical people. "

But outside the Commons, he changed his story, CTV said.

" It was a company in the United States but it was not the same company that

did the manufacturing, " Eggleton said.

But officials with the American firm, Mitretek, told CTV they didn't test

the

vaccine, they only reviewed testing done by the company that made it,

Michigan Biological Products Institute.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration inspected the Michigan plant and found

the company had relabelled drugs that expired in 1993 with 1998 dates.

Earlier this week, CTV obtained vaccination documents that showed Canadian

troops had been given the relabelled drugs.

The FDA inspection also said vaccines more than three years old may not be

stable or potent.

The inspection done just before troops headed to the Gulf in 1998 also found

problems with cleaning equipment, mould was found in some samples and some

vials were thrown out because they weren't properly sealed.

CTV has also reported that a Canadian Forces memo said the military didn't

complete the vaccinations for the troops because there wasn't enough drugs

available and states there was a small risk of side effects.

Sgt. Mike Kipling, a 27-year Forces veteran, is at the centre of the

controversy after refusing the vaccination order that was given to all

Canadian troops in the Gulf.

The Winnipeg-based air force flight engineer was worried the vaccine may be

linked to the Gulf War syndrome and is now facing a court martial.

The syndrome is a term used to describe the thousands of Gulf War veterans

from the United States, Britain and Canada who came down with unexplainable

illnesses after returning from the region. >>

Yes, that is right, and a lot of the Congressmen should have the " town

meetings " at a local town hall or auditorium to discuss issues with their

constituents. Perhaps this would be a good opportunity for people like you

and me to let their Congressmen know about certain issues, including the

anthrax vaccine and the effect of it on the military's readiness.

We here in OKC will be visiting with two Congressmen over the next week.

Please do as DSNurse has ask, call and get an appointment and if they

are having a town meeting, go. This will give you more of an audience to

present the facts.

Well, aren't Dr. and Gen. just full of themselves ... so

concerned about the health of the troops and all, but still filling them with

poison made in their own country by their own government. It truly makes me

sick.

As a rule, military doctors are exempt from malpractice and anything else. A

military member can't sue the government. The thing some are missing is that

a military family member can sue the government or it's agents for damages

.... i.e. if a spouse is injured by one of DoD's doctors and can't support the

family, the other family members can sue. The problem is that DoD is very

difficult to sue because witnesses are regularly told what to say and what

not to say and their careers die if they don't keep the " company line. "

Also, if the DoD needs to make someone go away, they just cut the orders and

you move ... to a different state or maybe different country. Also, if there

is documented proof, they just stamp it classified and bury it as has been

shown with the documents proving chemical agent use by Iraq. If that doesn't

do it, they just destroy the documents and say they don't know what happened.

The most recent example of this is the Waco evidence. Yes, it is legal to

sue the DoD but you (as a rule) won't win because they will attack you till

you go away.

I don't want to sue the DOD. That is not my intent. As in for going

away.... that won't happen either.

I can confirm this. I live next door to one of the professors at Tufts Vet

School and she makes the same claims about not innoculating nor suggesting

the vaccine to any of her students. I am also one of the Ct Air National

Guard pilots who refused the vaccine.
