Jeff is a very strong, brave young man, and is handling this situation very well. He is very calm, cool, and confident. I would also like to mention that Jeff and his wife are foster parents for 3 teenagers. Would they actually confine Jeff for six months when the state has given him the responsibility of loving, supporting, and nurturing three children? This is a very good example of the kind of people Jeff and are! Jeff has made this fact known to the media however, they have failed to print it! I feel this is a critical point in Jeff's situation, if he is convicted, he could lose his foster children. In my eyes, Jeff Bettendorf is a HERO!!!!
