They moved it from April 2 to March 26. And now instead of having a 9 am surgery time it is now at 1 pm. That won't be a fun day at all. I had it scheduled for April 2 because he'll be on spring break from school. I guess it really didn't matter though because he probably would have missed the week after spring break too. Oh well. Guest guest
It’s not that I don’t think he’ll bounce back, he’s usually back to himself after the first day. His surgeon has told me that he isn’t allowed to run, jump, ride his bike or do anything that could possibly cause him to fall or hit his face. When he had his epicanthus surgery, he had to miss the first 2 wks of school. After that he still wasn’t allowed to play on recess or participate gym class. He was give the go ahead to play at school on Wed., 2 months after the surgery, and that Friday some high school kids caught the playground equipment on fire. He was so upset that he only got to play on it for 3 days. It took the school up until March to get a new one.
