Hi There,

I have posted several times regarding the infertility issue, so won't bore everyone with the details again. But you sound like you are going through what I went through, only I went as far as going through artificial insemination and invitro (unsuccessfully) and not one specialist linked the infertility with the BPES. If you are interested, either contact me directly or look at my old emails to the group.

I am 35 and live in London, I have ptosis, the only one in our family that we are aware of. I had corrective plastic surgery from ages 2 - 11 at Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow... can't remember all the details of each operation... obviously getting old!!My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years. I miscarried (early, only 6 weeks) just before Christmas 2002.I have recently been diagnosed as having high FSH and therefore POF. I have never had a very regular cycle but I never imagined for a moment that ptosis and fertility could be linked...... I have never had anyone even mention this to me either despite seeing several Gynaecologists for fertility investigations. Just stumbled across this group today.I just wondered if anyone had information they could share with me or questions that I should ask my

GP/Gyn to understand more about whether I really have POF, links with ptosis etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Colena and I spoke on the phone yesterday. I got my webcam switched on and using Messenger we were able to talk on the phone and discuss eye surgery. It was a bit of a balancing act, I had the webcam in one hand, the phone in the other, and was using a pen to point to the scars!

We are planning to meet up, as we live just a couple of miles away from each other.

Anyway, just thought - maybe one day we can plan an online chat, with several people joining in - I don't think anyone has done that yet, have they?

If you have Messenger, it is the menu option called TOOLS then INVITE TO CONFERENCE.
