Guest guest Posted February 20, 2004 Report Share Posted February 20, 2004 I finally got Garrett’s surgery date yesterday in the mail. He’s scheduled for April 2 at 9:30 am. He’s going to be having bilateral frontalis fascia with slings, if that makes any sense. That’s what it says on his form for his pediatrician to fill out for the pre-op. Hopefully surgery will be on time and he’ll get in at the scheduled time. Last time they were really behind and he didn’t get in until 2 hours after the scheduled time. I just can’t wait to get this done. I picked the day that I wanted him to have it, but they weren’t sure if the surgeon could do it at that time, luckily he can. Garrett will be on spring break from school starting the 5th so he’ll only miss the last day of school. He’ll probably have to miss the week they come back from break, but that’s better than having to miss 2 wks. He missed the first 2 wks of school because of his last surgery; he has a lot of other issues going on so he’s behind anyway in school.
