Hi, I'm 20 yrs old and have blephs. It's so different for me to read messages and see pictures of people who are going through some of the same things i've gone through, or am going through right now. Many of the kids pictures look just like me as a child. It's the first time I've ever seen pictures of someone that looks like me......strange but it's like when you are little and everyone saids you look like this person or that person, I never got that for the exception of me looking like my dad or sister b/c of our eyes...my eyes have always made me stand out. Unlike many other stories I've read about, I've had more surgeries than most. (around 15) My eyes are def. still noticably different than others. The only thing harder than those surgeries was the way people treated me, esspecially as a child. I remember coming home crying and my mom would tell me how they were the ones w/ the problem, not me and I was perfect the way I am...etc, etc, etc. Once I got out of high school and went to college, I thought everything would change, but not everything changed. I still get looks and questions. It's different kind of looks or questions than it was as a child but it's still there.

As far as surgeries, I've had everything from muscle from my leg put into my eye lids to skin behind my ears graphed for under my eye lids. If anyone has any questions or wants to compare stories just ask.

-Stayce :)
