This is great.... I came up with an idea late last night, as I was pondering

the wonders of life. I know and you all know that we have more than 1500

supporters. Shoot... just between military bases themselves, we can get many

thousands more. Here's my idea: How about if one or two individuals from

each base take a piece of paper and physically walk around to individuals

asking them if they support the petition. If they do, why not take down

their information that's requested on the petition, and fill it out for them

based on their support. I was thinking that not all individuals have access

to computers, so maybe they don't know about it. And God Forbid, you pass

the petition along on gov't equipment. How does that sound?

Also, it turns out that the petition will expire on the 17th of

September, somehow Mark was accessing a different page at the petition

site that had an error on it indicating we had less time left then we do.

It now has over 1500 signatures. I think if we use that extra time and

really push it we might double that or better 5,000 signatures would make

a BIG impact. >>

The site works fine now and the alternate gateway as well. I

temporarily ran out of web space. The server took care of that after

I got someone out of bed this morning. Early for them, but late for

me...Yawn. The sun was coming up.

I noticed that when people went to the petition, they could access the

site in frames, but had no ability to bookmark it or know where they

were, so the location of the site is now shown on the page itself. Now

those visitors will be able to return after the petition expires and

locate the Anthrax page

Btw, my computer problem this week was only with the browser, I believe

it accumulated an enormous temporary file I failed to locate and delete,

EVEN after I searched for it by name! The browser wouldn't open at all.

Basically it was about as successful as an ostrich trying to fly with

that load. Then, several reloads, some lost things, address book, inbox

header file (real pain) and every thing is 'fine' again. But, said a lot

of bad words soooo, I will avoid lightening bolts till that all blows

over.......
