bernice/answer about surgeries and scars

Bernice ~ I am 32 and have had one major surgery and several little

touch up surgeries. I still get the stares and questions ... so, I am

not sure about if anyone has had surgery that was so realistic they

weren't subjected to stares/criticism.

I wonder if the amount of surgeries has alot to do with when they

started the treatment. Mine started when I was in kindergarten age.

My sister(Stayce-new member who showed me these wonderful boards!)

had her surgery very early (as toddler). That was what the dr.'s

suggested then. She has had a great # (between 15-20) of surgeries. I

just wonder if there is any correlation between the two?!?!?

Just a random thought???
