Guest guest
My heart has always gone out to kids who are teased for any reason. What is wrong with someone who thinks that a parent has never looked at his or her own child, or a person who thinks you've never seen yourself in a mirror, and who judges a person of any age with bleph? The photos that I see on this website are just beautiful---babies, toddlers, children, adults, with or without surgeries. Teasing is bullying, and small-minded. Rude remarks are, well, rude. Last week my daughter Suzy and I took Lili with us and went to lunch. While we were leaving some grandmas admired the baby, then one asked about her eyes. Suzy handled it with a cheery, " Oh, she sees fine; she just has tiny eyes. " I was so proud of that moment, both for Suzy and baby Lili! I am just so grateful for the website, for the communication, and for the idea that people who have felt this pain can find comraderie and encouragement.
