wishing you and yours all the best for little Ruths operation... My

son Ethan had his operation at 2 and half.. and now at nearly 5 his

scars are non exitant and hes looking great.. tho it is quite a shock

straight after the operation as they look really different and

sometimes are unable to shut their eyes at all for a while. But once

it all settles down they just look remarkably differnet..Ethans eyes

were bandages for a whole night and morning after his operation and

he coped really well just being held onto and talked to by me.. and

if its any help at least your daughter will not remember this

operation in a couple of months.. best wishes
