Thanks for your compliment. The change in Ruth's situation is

fantastic. Its wonderfull to see her big blue eyes now and it's very

nice to see how curious she looks into the camera. Can she move here

eylids? Did you have to drop her eyes?

Regards,

Dolph

--Hi, For the first couple of days we had to use a lubricant(lacri-

lube) on her eyes every couple of hours to prevent them from drying

out because she couldn't close them very good and we also used

erythromycin to prevent infection. Ruth hated it. After a couple of

days she started closing her left eye all the way and after about a

week she could close her right eye. She is doing great with blinking

her eyes now and they are closed most of the time when she is

sleeping but she occasionnaly still has them open a little when she

is sleeping. We go back to the doctor soon to make sure they are not

getting too dry but they seem to be fine. Is closing her eyes

Yet? Talk to you soon, Jill- In

we had to use a lubricant for one week. She did not really react to

the drops. Yes she opens and closes her eyes quit good now and indeed

sometimes when she sleeps the eyes are a little bit open. Altogether

we are very happy with the results of the surgeons work.

best regards,

Dolph
