Never fear – this all works out. Guest guest
Well, We drove all the way to Surgery and they called it off because caught a cold yesterday. It's for the best I guess. They said sometimes if kids are sick and they go under.. they have a higher risk of getting pneumonia. So we will have to wait to re-schedule. It's so stressful I just wish we could have gotten it over-with though. Well talk to you soon God Bless
Guest guest
Micah, I don't think we can help but be nervous before they go in for surgery, do you? I also don't know that it's so bad that they see we're nervous- it's pretty serious & it will help her not touch her eyes afterwards. , my 6 year old, just had his second operation about 10 days ago. He had slings and I'm about to download pictures. He's doing great & I'm sure Leah will, too! He had his first when he was 3 & we had to use arm splints and watch him like crazy because he kept trying to rub, touch & scratch them. I think it's great that your daughter is a bit older & will understand. We're wishing Leah a quick recovery!
