Guest guest
HEY JENNIFER, WHEN MY DAUGHTER MALLORY WAS BORN I KNEW DEEP WITH IN MY SELF THAT SOMETHING WAS REALLY WRONG. HER PEDIATRICIAN DID NOT SEEM TO THINK SO. SHE HAD LITTLE FOLDS UNDERNEATH HER EYES, NO NASAL BRIDGE,A VERY SMALL MOUTH AND CHIN AND A VERY WIDE GAP BETWEEN HER EYES. SHE WAS ALSO VERY STUFFY. SHE FOUGHT HER FEEDINGS AS I WAS TRYING TO BREAST FEED. WE MADE SEVERAL TRIPS TO HER PEDIATRICIAN TOLD HIM THE PROBLEMS AND HE STILL SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG. THE SYMPTOMS GOT WORSE. WE CHANGED PEDIATRICIANS AND SHE WAS THEN DIAGNOSED WITH WHAT HE CALLED SMALL FEATURES AND SMALL NASAL AND EAR PASSAGES. SHE HAS JUST RECENTLY AT THREE YEARS OLD BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH BLEPH. I SPENT MOST OF MY TIME CRYING WHEN SHE WAS FIRST BORN ASKING WHY ME? WHY MY CHILD? BUT FROM THIS EXPERIENCE I HAVE LEARNED THAT GOD ALWAYS HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE. I STILL HAVE TIMES WHEN I LOOK AT HER AND I STILL WORRY ALOT ABOUT HER AND SURGERIES THAT THE DOCTOR HAS SUGGESTED. MY HUSBAND AND I ALWAYS LOOK AT OTHERS THAT ARE IN SUCH WORSE SITUATIONS THAN WHAT WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH AND REALIZE HOW BLESSED WE REALLY ARE.
