Guest guest
Annette: Glad to hear how Josh is able to enjoy the view and especially those who love him! Rowan (now 11 months) is doing well 2 1/2 weeks after his surgery although he fell last Friday morning hitting his right eye on a plastic toy box which opened his eyelid incision. We left immediately for ville and waited until 6:00 p.m. when our surgeon and OR were available since he had to undergo general anesthesia once again. He's looking great but still has some slight swelling - anxious to see the final outcome once all swelling has gone. Kim Tallahassee, FL -------------- Original message -------------- Hi all. Josh had his sling surgery 9 days ago and is doing great. His eyes have almost completely healed except for slight swelling. He is really enjoying the greater field of vision. He can now recognize me and others as we walk by. He is so busy looking around that he doesn't want to finish his bottle. He looks more normal now too. We are so happy with the outcome. Guest guest
Kim, Oh my gosh! You had to be freaking out about him falling. I had a similar scary experience and I think my heart stopped beating. I was at the pharmacy to pick up his post-op meds, and Josh was in his infant seat, resting on the child seat portion of the cart. My 2 year old stepped up on the cart and turned the cart over. The car seat flipped out and rolled twice across the floor. Fortunately the handle was up and acted as a roll bar. He fussed for a minute but wasn't hurt. Hope Rowan's swelling is going down. Kids are so resilient, aren't they? Annette -- -------------- Original message -------------- Annette: Glad to hear how Josh is able to enjoy the view and especially those who love him!
