Guest guest
I think put a little in 3 times a day, especially before bedtime. It doesn't sound like he has lubrication problems. I didn't get to reply to your message before, I finally got to look at his picture and he is so adorable, so precious. I am so excited for all of you. My grandfather had BPES and he was in an orphanage, until he was 10, so it's really special to me to hear your story. love Beth > Hi Everyone, > Micah arrived home last night and is just a doll! Guest guest
HI THERE when we had to put that same ointment into lynden's eyes we were told to put it in at bed time since he will not be blinking and it is thick, awake it is too thick to see thru, but yah at bedtime is good so that thru the night the eyes stay moist and dust particle free......... hope this helps... Thelanguage barrier is the hardest for us right now - butthe kids aren't bothered by it. Cars make the samenoise in every language. I do have a question about the ointment we aresupposed to put in his eyes at night when he goes tobed. The adoption agency pretty much handed us a tubeof duratears and told us to use it and that was it. Do you put this in your/your children's eyes when theyare still awake? Once they are asleep? How much doyou put in? Do you only do it at night or do you doit at naptime too?I will call the doctor here today, but thought all ofyou experts might now that one. Guest guest
HI MY SON TAKE THE OINTMENT EVERY NIGHT ...WE ONLY USE AT NIGHT BECAUSE WHEN THEY HAVE IT IN THEY CANT SEE. DROPS WORK BEST IF HE REQUIRES THEM DURING THE DAY. I PUT IT IN THE CORNER OF THE EYES AFTER THEY ARE ASLEEP. YOU CAN DO IT BEFORE IF HE DOESNT GET ALL MAD AT YOU FOR DOING IT ...LOL MY KIDS ARE 10 & 13 AND GET MAD IF THEY FEEL IT SO I DO IT AFTER THEY ARE ASLEEP....SOMETIMES THEY WAKE UP WHILE I AM DOING IT BUT THEY GO RIGHT BACK TO SLEEP. GOOD LUCK april Eisele <aprileisele@...> wrote: Hi Everyone,Micah arrived home last night and is just a doll! Thelanguage barrier is the hardest for us right now - butthe kids aren't bothered by it. Guest guest
Thank you! That helps a lot. He always wakes up when I try to do it. I'll try putting it in the corner of the eye - I was trying to gently pull down the lower lid and put it in there. He is doing great! His first eye appt. here will be on June 2nd.
