Guest guest
Hi all, I've been on this group for a couple months and really appreciated all the information. My husband (Dana) and son (Cameron) both have bleph, but our daughter (Kiera) doesn't. I have uploaded a couple pictures of Dana and Cameron. Dana was the first in the family to have it, and actually didn't know it was " bleph " until Cameron was diagnosed recently by a geneticist. Dana had 4 surgeries by age 4 and none since. Fortunately they did a great job and the only challenge has been his left eye which doesn't close entirely. We've had offers to correct it, but Dana is happy as it is. We are waiting on surgery for Cameron until he is older (he's only 18 months now). Fortunately his vision and life don't appear to be impacted too much (but I do get comments about how " sleepy " he is). We are located in the San Francisco bay area and go to Dr. Green in Los Gatos. I understand there is another specialist at Stanford, but we've been happy with Dr. Green so far. Does anyone else on this group see Dr. Green? I'm interested in surgery feedback as we are not finalized on who will do Cameron's surgery. I've uploaded a couple of pictures of Dana and Cameron. I think that both of them are gorgeous and wouldn't change a thing! Is anyone else in this group in the bay area? I'd love to meet others. Take care, __________________________________ - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.
Guest guest
Thank you for your positive message, I looked at your pictures and I couldn't agree with you more. My daughter is 13 months, there is a picture of her at 11 months, in the folder entitled Lily. She has slings. I have bleph, so does my dad and my grandfather did, too. I am like your husband, I didn't know I had " bleph " until Lily was diagnosed. take care Beth --- In blepharophimosis , How <reneehow@y...> wrote: > Hi all, > > I've been on this group for a couple months and really > appreciated all the information.
