Guest guest
Yes, the NAVY is giving the shots! First they talk to them, then it comes the time to take the shot and, of course, the time to say yes or no. List, another issue for us to worry about? The boys that will join the armed forces and are not informed about this? OUCH! ----Original Message Follows---- From: " Starkweather " <ethanp@...> Reply-onelist " Antharx " <onelist> Subject: Navy Date: Sat, 20 Nov 1999 12:17:57 -0500 Ok, folks here is my question. My son has been talking to the Navy recruiter.... He asked " what about anthrax? " The recruiter told Matt that the Navy isn't gining the shot because it is not FDA approved... Well anyone heard this before? So far we havn't seen it in writing. tom
Guest guest
Have the recruiter put that in writing, also have him to get his commander to sign it. If you do get it, take a Notary Public with you when they sign it. Then really think about it. Bet you won't get it! >From: " Starkweather " <ethanp@...> >Reply-onelist > " Antharx " <onelist> >Subject: Navy >Date: Sat, 20 Nov 1999 12:17:57 -0500 > ><< text2.html >> ><< text3.html >>

Guest guest
My husband wasn't even talked to .. just " get to the Doc " ... they never explained it or any effects or why they thought it was needed ... not until my husband refused. He refused just over a month ago... so yes the Navy is giving the shots ... I have called a few recruitment offices and have been told that it was a harmless little shot, to ... depending on what type of job I take .. only those who are in harms way have to take it ... asked about a waiver .. was told that couldn't happen .. but no worried that it had been fully tested and was safe .. Just makes my skin crawl ... Guest guest
HUH????!!!!! Afraid getting it in writing still ain't gonna do you any good. You know it's BS. It's DOD directed. Recruiter either a) Has his head in the sand, Is desperate for recruits. Enough to even........ lie, OR c) all the above. << Ok, folks here is my question. Guest guest
My son is in the navy and was 'forced' to take his shots or be court-martialed, kicked out of the navy, and lose all his benefits. So he 'chose' to take the shots! The recruiter is a bold faced liar!
