Guest guest
I just wanted to be clear that my comment on believing that we had done the right thing in waiting for surgeries was in no way intended to imply that anyone said otherwise. I just meant that many times it can feel like surgeons, especially cosmetic surgeons, push to do surgery sooner rather than later. Also, the emotions involved with the acceptance and self-image of an affected person or a person's affected child can be very tricky. It's hard not to want to rush in and " fix " things so that those affected don't have to suffer emotionally. So I'm sorry if anyone took that comment as anything other than how I explained above.
