Guest guest
Hello Group, I have a question for anyone in the group. We will be bringing our daughter nna up to Boston Childrens in March for her consultation. We are going to be seeing Dr sen. Has anyone ever seen seen him before? He is in practice with Dr Hunter. Guest guest
Hi Carla You may like to look here: http://www.emedicine.com/ent/topic97.htm and then look for the section called "Treatment". There is a detailed discussion of material used for slings. It may be that for the operation planned for your daughter is not the same as that discussed in the article. So, perhaps this link will be of limited use to you. He had surgerywhen he was 2 yrs 10 mos old. You can see hispictures under "Eisele Family". We haven't had anyproblems with his slings - it has now been about ayear and a half since his surgery. We weren't with Micah when he had his surgery (weadopted him from S. Korea and they did his surgerybefore he came home). But our doctor here said he wasglad the doctors used the silicone slings because hefinds them "easier to adjust" later on if needed. When will they do nna's surgery?
