Guest guest
April That was a lovely posting, and left me with happy tears, for your son he now feels complete happy and where he should be,truly you and your husband are remarkable and I just wanted to say that. april Eisele <aprileisele@...> wrote: I have been trying to catch up on reading posts andnoticed the discussion regarding infertility due toPOF. First, I saw someone posted that "all women inthe U.S. have been taken off HRT due to health risks".I just wanted to encourage whomever wrote that toseek an opinion from a new doctor. I know MANY womenages 20 to 35 who have undergone hysterectomies andentered surgical menopause who are now on hormonereplacement therapy. I, myself, had a hysterectomy thesame month I turned 30 and have been on HRT eversince. There are actually more health risks for youngwomen if they don't do the HRT. So please talk toyour doctor about this option for your daughter. Second, my husband and I decided once we got marriedthat we wanted to build our family through adoption. We never tried to get pregnant. (My having to have ahysterectomy came later and funny enough had nothingto do with us wanting to adopt.) I know many people, most people, want to have biological children. Andwhen faced with the possibility of not being able todo that can feel very helpless, sad, and disappointed. But I just wanted to offer another perspective - Ihave three BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL children who did notgrow under my heart, but in it. Adoption is awonderful option and can bless your lives more thanyou know. So please don't give up on having childrenof "your own". All of my children were adopted - andnow they are "my own".Actually, we finalized Micah's adoption yesterday.(Micah is our son with BPES who came home to us at 3yrs old.) It was very touching when the judge askedhim if he wanted to stay with us and he said yes. Heknew yesterday meant our forever family is just that- forever. When we got home he grabbed me, hugged metight, and said, "Forever Mommy". I hugged him backknowing that after three and a half years he no longerhas to worry - he is home - and we are the lucky ones.Blessings to all,April Eisele, Colorado, USAWife to JonMommy to Mira, Micah & Misha __________________________________ FareChase: Search multiple travel sites in one click.http://farechase. Guest guest
Hello April, Maree from NZ here. You wrote a lovely message about your experience with adoption & I just wanted to say thanks - it just brings another aspect to the discussion - I`m not sure what its like in the States but here in NZ its getting harder to find babies for adoption - also our country doesn`t have adoption arrangements with all the countries. If you don`t mind I would like to print your message - I`m keeping a few I think will be of interest to my daughter . She is only 19 but it is on her mind about her possible infertility. Regarding HRT I know it has been a topic of hot debate here in NZ & probably there are still two schools of thought but I think in general women have been advised to not take HRT although in some situations it is better that they are. Does that make sense??!! Sounds like your children are totally blessed to be part of your family & they know it too!! Bless you too for opening your hearts to these little ones - for myself I have dreamed of adopting an abandoned Chinese child but as I said before can be quite tricky from New Zealand - I just read about them instead!! Bye for now Maree > > I have been trying to catch up on reading posts and > noticed the discussion regarding infertility due to > POF.
