I got a letter from the school today about Garrett's vision. He failed the vision screening that the school does. I'm not exactly sure how accurate the schools vision screening is, but they have him down as being 20/200 in both eyes. I went online to see exactly what 20/200 vision was and what i found was disturbing. I'm hoping that his vision isn't really that bad. It said that 20/200 is considered legally blind if not corrected by lenses. Even though it can be corrected by lenses it was still disturbing to me. Does anyone have any experience with the schools vision screening and the actual testing with the opthamologist? Have the schools results been accurate with the opth. results?
