Guest guest
Fort Sam went pretty much the same way as the York's reported. Anything people complained about, i.e. lack of caring and treatment by VA ended up being invited to meet one on one, thus the audience never knows if their situation ends up being resolved or not. It was sad seeing grown men and women begging for help. Tried to get them to go along with the need to stop AVIP until we are certain that anthrax is not causing the problems people are encountering, but got the same old DoD dog and pony show about safety and efficacy. Air Force Lt Col tried to talk to me offline about how she would be dependant on me in a war time situation to be as protected (anthrax-wise) as she was. I explained to her that I would rather be dead than not have quality of life. She then tried to tell me that just driving a car was a risk, but I blew her off with my answer of at least I'd have some control there. Finally I ignored her and she went away. The only thing I think these people got from the meeting was that the troops are not being taken seriously by the physicians when and if they can get any health care. Also, studies are nice, but how about some answers. ===== HELP!! Stop the mandatory anthrax vaccine inoculations For more information go to: http://www.dallasnw.quik.com/cyberella/ __________________________________________________
