Firt of all on behalf of all mice (including the late mouse on the web

site) your apology is accecpted. Mice and cockroaches actually learn

from their mistakes! Try shining a light on one and you will see that

for a fact.

Now as we have read in the last few days, the military has two plans

to recruit more bodies. One is the use of movie stars and film to

target youth. Actually this is a fairly clever move on the part of

Cohen, (the first I have seen lately) Last year, I sent the name of

a web site in that gave the addresses of stars. My bookmark file died

during a browser change months ago. Soo any help finding that again

from the list would be greatly appreciated. Maybe a search for " stars "

through the archive would recover that, or use the search engines.

Secondly, they are now going to target minorities, maybe the NAACP

should be told why, the information should spread fairly quickly as

to WHY DoD is suddenly overly interested in courting these two groups

(African American and Hispanics) at this time. This is not the first

time African Americans have been targeted with advertising. Many feel

that they have been with cigarette and alchohol ads. We need to brain

storm on the best way to inform these ethnic groups of the risk of

joining the military at this time. Both of these groups can be made

aware of the risk of military service.

I was standing in line at the grocery store when the African American

mother behind me began a conversation. It came out that her son had

signed up to join the army. He had been promised thousands of dollars.

When I told her about the vaccine, she was upset and asked me if he

would have to take it. All I could tell her was, " Yes, if the program

isn't stopped " (I did give her the website as well) No parent that

learns about this vaccine really wants their child to take it. I think

we need to do what we can to notify people who are being targeted for

recruiting, just what the risks are.

Their are surely many groups on the internet we can start with. Those

who live in or near San or Los Angeles have an advantage. There

must be local groups that promote ethnic culture, dance, the arts,

education to begin with.
