Guest guest
Nature's Gate also has no Fluoride... Some of " Tom's of Maine " does.... Look for it ...It is labeled.. " Tom's " uses Calcium Fluoride and not Fluoric Acid that comes from the waste of the aluminum industry... I only use non Fluoridated Toothpaste always.... Not even Tom's with Fluoride, do I concider SAFE... The only Calcium Fluoride that is safe is that in a homeopathic remedy or a Tissue or Cell Salt known as Calcarea Fluoricum. And it should only be used in situations to aid in dentition and to prevent Osteo Pinia or Osteoporosis as a tissue salt in the potency of 6x....dry one to three tablets daily under the supervision of a homeopathic practitioner. Shaklee Toothpaste Safest for Kids Special thank you to Kroll from New Jersey for this information. Did you know most toothpastes carry a health warning? Not Shaklee's!! When we were in New England this week, my daughter's travelling companion had Aquafresh Fluoride Toothpaste in her travel bag. When she was brushing her teeth, I asked if I could see the tube. I was looking for a warning statement because by law, anything containing fluoride that you might swallow has to have a health warning. The tube didn't have the warning so I called the company consumer hotline and asked them why not? I spoke to a nice young lady named who volunteered that the FDA didn't enforce the labeling law until recently so maybe this was an older tube. She looked at 5 samples she had on her desk and said they all had the warning which basically states that if any toothpaste was swallowed (in excess of a normal brush-size portion), to " consult a medical professional immediately since ingestion could be fatal. " She also said, " Everyone knows that fluoride can be poisonous, it is common knowledge. " My question to you is: did you know this? She also told me that their fluoridated toothpastes (they have 5 types) clearly state on the tube and box that they are for children over the age of 6 and that children should be supervised, never using more than a pea size drop. Shaklee has never added fluroride to our toothpaste/dentrifrice. It is an organic and kosher-certified product. Clinical studies performed with 137 students showed that it was the most effective brand at removing stains from the teeth. Also, Shaklee feels that a good diet and supplemental natural vitamins and minerals, especially calcium, are far better and far safer for tooth health than fluoride. To read more about the fluoride controversy, visit these independent consumer web sites: http://www.fluoridealert.org http://fluoridation.com Below, I have cut and paste some basic info on Shaklee's delicious-tasting and delicious-smelling spearmint or wintergreen dentifrice from our online product guide. Just think: with our organic product, you don't have to worry if the kids swallow any!! And don't use a lot: instead of placing a strip lengthwise on the toothbrush, place a strip in the other direction. It doesn't take much to have great looking healthy teeth when you use Shaklee! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New ConceptĀ® Organic Dentifrice a..
