Survey Intro: " The United States General Accounting Office (GAO) is the

independent investigative arm of the Congress. It is not affiliated with the

Department of Defense or the Military Services. The Chairman of the House

Committee on Government Reform has asked the GAO to gather information on the

views of current and former members of the Guard and Reserve concerning the

military's Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program (AVIP). We are also

collecting general background information, specific information from those

who have received the immunizations, and information on other issues related

to the administration of the program. "

The survey used in a randomized sample is available on the US Congress' House

of Representatives website at:

The survey is also accessible from their home page at:

www.house.gov/reform

or

www.house.gov/reform.

Please distribute this survey widely to Guard and Reserve unit members.

These additional inputs from across the Air Guard and Reserve will be tracked

separate from the official randomized sample, but the observations will be

equally important for the final assessment of the readiness and morale impact

of the AVIP.

The opening introduction says " we are also collecting general background

information, specific information from those who have received

immunizations, and information on other issues related to the administration

of the program. "

Based upon that introduction I edited the form to state Army Active Duty

(from Army Reserve) and highlighted the entry in red. I intend to file it.

I would suggest other do the same if we flood enough information from Active

Duty they cannot ignore it all, even if they did not specifically ask for AD

personnel info. Others in other branches can do the same it comes up in a

word document when you open it. The GAO so far seems to be at least willing

to consider the insanity of this program and call it what it is.

If enough of us contribute, they will have to pass that on to congress also.
