Guest guest
Dear Tony, You have such a giving heart, even when your heart is broken you reach out to others in pain. Because of this you are able to give so much to others because you live the verses found in ians 2:3-8: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God, something to be grasped, made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even death on a cross! Tony thank for your willingness to look beyond your own pain and want to help others who are hurting. You are such an inspiration to me. Guest guest
Tony, So glad you felt well enough to get to the game. I'm not much of a baseball fan but living here in Richmond, I have to root for the Braves. Continue to eat, eat and eat. As always, you are in my prayers. Guest guest
Hi Shireen ! So sorry to hear about your mom. I've been on several cocktail regimes and some worked for a while but since I do have a liver disease that is also progressing rapidly there are some hiv meds that I cannot take because they are harmful to the liver and causes liver damage which I already have. I started drinking three cans of ensure after my weight loss. As I shared with my other friends in the group, I lost 25 pounds in a couple of weeks so I'm really trying here to get them back. I have a major problem with nausea and diahrrea and do take meds for that but so far no improvement. To be honest with you, the hardest part of all is watch it happening. My heart and soul want so much to get well but my body is in its own little world. On the other hand, I believe on a Heavenly Father that can move mountains and I stand ready to receive His will for my life whether it will be in a form of healing or His calling for me to come home. God Bless You, Tony
Guest guest
What a great picture! I’m not sure I understand, so are you not going to go to Spain? Your mom looks like such a nice person. [ ] Hello ! My Dear Friends ! Once again I can't find the appropiate words to express my gratitude for your support. You have become such a strong presence in my life and for that I thank you. Today I received a strong opposition from my family for my decision. They don't feel that Spain is worth giving up my change at living but what they can't understand is that LIVING was my decision. As much respect as I have for those people that give their bodies in the interest of science, the love that I feel for my family especially my mother by far out weights my desire. I want her to be able to remember my smiles of joy instead of my tears of pain. Here is a picture that we had took that day before I started my treatment in New York. Right after that she had to witness her youngest son endure suffering as he had not know before so can you see, I want to be remember like this and that is my final choice. I hope that you can understand my view and unless something changes that is what I'm going for. Love Always, Tony

Guest guest
Dear Tony, Have a great trip! Been thinking about you. Can't believe everything blew up like that, sounds like something out of a bad movie. Glad you're alright! Take care, [ ] Hello ! Hi ! I hope that when you receive this e-mail you are all surrounded in God'Blessings. I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to write sooner. I had a major electrical surge at the house which destroyed all my electronic equipment including my computer. It was quite scarry since I didn't know what was happening at the time. I was just watching tv and all the sudden the lightbulves started to pop out following by the tv screen exploting and the computer catching on fire. I was terrified and when got the hold of the phone to call for help, the phone felt like if would have been in the oven. The people from the power company and fire department were very nice since I was pretty shock up by the time that they got there. Since my trip is now so close by I'll be waiting until my return to replace all the property lost, of course with the help of the homeowners insurance policy. I will try to get online from other sites as I'm able but for sure at least once before I leave. You all take very good care of yourselves and remember that you are always in my heart. Guest guest
Tony- Had a couple of neighbors have that happen a couple of years ago. Did you know the power company is very likely responsible for replacing your belongings? I know when my friends had it happen, they lost the tv, stereo, fridge, you name it. The power company replaced it all due to something that was faulty in the power lines. If it was something in the power lines, and not something in your home that caused it, it is then their responsibility to replace your things. It's worth a try, and could save you from making a claim against the homeowners ins. - that always causes an increase later down the road. The power company tried to tell my friends that they didn't have too, but my hubby is an electrician and explained it clearer for the power company. I would call the power company and maybe give a hypathetical question and see what they say. Carole > Hi ! > > I hope that when you receive this e-mail you are all surrounded in God'Blessings. Guest guest
Tony..... Carole's right. I'm an electrical contractor and without knowing the particulars, I would guess that the responsibility lies on the power company, unless you were struck by ligtning. The utility company won't volunteer this to you.....get your local electrical inspector or building department to inspect it and the power company may pay for your damage. They can afford it. I'm familar with more than a few such cases. Good to have you back on line.....i know you're excited on going to Spain ...vaya con Dios,mi amigo. jerry

Guest guest
Hi Tony, I hope you will have a wonderful trip to Spain. My sister-in-law returned from a holiday trip to Mallorca last night and almost broke down in tears when she realised the weather here - over there it's balmy and warm , not really hot, but hot enough for a swim at midday. Temps there are in their low 20s °Celsius - can't tell you in F, but when it's that warm, we go out in T shirts and shorts... And Barcelona you will simply adore. It's an amazing, lively place with great architecture and the amazing Las Ramblas promenade with its outdoor cafes/bars. Hope you will get to eat very tasty tapas. Enjoy your stay in Europe. Mind you, the electric wiring we encountered in Spain was at times a bit on the experimental side. So, be careful! Other than some pain on that side I'm doing okay. Now I wait until tuesday where I will meet with my doctors to discuss the results. The way things are looking so far indicates that I will need to start making arragements for a transplant. As I told you on an earlier e-mail; there is a hospital in Pittsburgh doing transplants on AIDS patients. Is called University of Pittsburgh E Starzl Transplantation Institute lead by Dr J Fung. I will know more about it tuesday. I spoke to my pastor about the preliminary report and to keep me from getting anxious about tuesday there are some activities at the church that I'm planning to attend so I can keep my mind off the things until then. Isn't that wonderful; God is always a step ahead of us and He knew that Tony was going to need that fellowship to get him through tuesday. Just one more way for Him to shown how much He cares for me and all of us and that He Has Everything Under Control !!!!!!!!!!! To change the subject; I had just about enough from AOL so I'm switching to Bellsouth Fast Access this weekend and will let you know my new e-mail address. I'm planning to switch sunday after church.
