Guest guest
Thank you to everyone who responded! Micah is fine. Whew!!! It is very hard to describe, but when he woke up from his nap it looked like a piece of pink tissue was coming from the outer corner of his eye and was covering the while of the eye as well as part of the iris and the pupil. I was very surprised when the doctor told us it was the eyeball itself doing that. How weird! He said it can be caused by anything - something Micah touched and then touched his eye, something that got into his eye, an allergy, etc. Completely unrelated to the blepharophimosis. So I have special drops to put in his eye and they said it should look normal very soon. Micah says it does not hurt. Thank you for your prayers! His eye looked so weird and I was so worried. I am so relieved it is not a big deal and he is just fine. Shireen - thank you for sharing your experience! If this doesn't go away I will know what to ask the doctor.
