I also remember those weeks spent in hospital with both eyes

bandaged,1 ear bandaged as well from the skin grafts and my arms

strapped down.I also remember the shared wards, and lonliness of not

having my parents around. So I say a big thanks to todays hospital

system where we can be with our children when they are having the

anisthetic and be there in recovery. My boys were very lucky to have

been operated on the same day same surgeon same room where my husband

stayed over with them. One night in hospital with no problems. My boys

are treated the same as their siblings. As far as teasing goes I think

we have all had our fair share of bad days, name calling happens to

almost everyone eg; red hair, big nose, weight issues, the list goes

on.Ive got amazing kids with no hang ups they are quite popular and

have many friends. Our life is as normal as any other family.

Ally.
