Thank you so much for sharing your story. Please do let me know how the tests turn out. I'll be praying for you! Im trying to figure out how I'll go about starting the process myself. I don't have health insurance and I don't even have a Gyn. I can imagine how difficult it will be to get a new doctor to listen to me and refer me to a specialist, especially without medical insurance. I'm not looking forward to any of this. My mind hasn't stopped since all of this starting comming together. I guess one step at a time.

The watery eye thing................. such a headache! I'm legally blind therefore I can't drive but I completely understand what an issue the outdoors is. I had eye liner tattooed on because my tears would take even water proof liner off. I bet that sounds pretty obsessive- and it is! It ended up being a waste of time, money and pain since it faded in less than a year. I don't know if many other women with bleph. feel like eye liner is their "best friend" but I won't leave the house without it on. I just feel like it hides a little bit of the shape my eyes are in. (Also perhaps a sad statement) Eye shadow won't cover the scars on my eye lids from the surgeries, so all the tricks in the magazines to make eyes appear larger don't realy apply. I am pretty self conscious about the way my eyes look. You'd think maybe after 31 years I'd get over it. Actually just about the time I'm 100% comfortable with myself some total stranger walks up and verbally "smacks" me back down.

Sorry, not always this bitter.

I am grateful for this wonderful group. I'm no longer alone in this.
