Guest guest
Just read postings about watery eyes, which drives me nuts aswell. It's ,mainly outdoors. It's much better now that I drive, I know that sounds strange, maybe someone can relate to this but when I was younger and waiting for buses was a nightmare as I couldn't see the bus numbers for my eyes filling up with water. I had them checked out when at Moorfields recently and was told nothing could be done and this is apart of BPES, for me anyway. Wearing eye make-up is a problem as by the time I get to where I'm going most has been rubbed off as a result of my watery eyes. Windy days are the worst as my eyes stream. I love to cycle and this can be a problem with watery eyes or any outdoor sport for that matter. I always have tissues at the ready and wearing sunglasses / glasses helps !!! > > > I didn't have the ability to > > > open my eyes at all untill the first surgery. > > ... > > > I was quite shocked to know that some of the messages I've read > talked about > > > surgeries being performed much later than mine and I wondered how > that > > > worked. Guest guest
Anything you are allergic to in the air? Did you get new carpet, bedding, or car? Buist, ND Watery Eyes Hi!I have always had a tendency to watery eyes. For the last month or so I have had permanently watery eyes. I wake up with swollen eyes in the morning and the slightest thing sets them off. I also have small red pimples forming around my eyes and on my eye lids. I am taking 50 mg of Lugol's per day. Apart from that this is the best I have felt for about 10 years. Anybody got any idea what this could be due to? MacGilchrist

Guest guest
It sounds like allergies. Mine kicked in Last week. I have all of the same symptoms. I was on Flonase for 16 years and I quit taking it along with all of my other man made meds but I fond it has been tolerable and clears up when I use my netti pot daily. from IllinoisFrom: MacGilchrist <s.macgilxrist@...>iodine Sent: Tue, March 22, 2011 5:37:22 AMSubject: Watery Eyes Hi! Guest guest
I have used this product for my eyes. Not sure if you can get this in France: http://www.similasanusa.com/allergy-eye-relief I love this site because you can walk through symptoms and it tells you what homeopathic remedy is best for your condition. http://abchomeopathy.com/c.php/172 Watery Eyes Hi!I have always had a tendency to watery eyes. Guest guest
Sometimes watery eyes are actually dry eyes that are overcompensating (http://www.i-care.net/dryeye.htm). The pimples could be styes: http://www.health-disease.org/eye-diseases/eye-stye.htm If I am remembering you have also had a lot of gunk in your throat and I'm not remembering if sinuses have been a problem ... but this all makes sense to me to all be connected to the things I have written in response to some of your posts before ... bacteria's that like to hang out in sinuses, jawlines, glands and ducts that are located in the skull. As seen in the links that I provided both watery eyes (originating from dry eyes) and styes are primarily bacterial in origin and I wonder if this might be the case for you. In addition to adding Lugol's to a saline nasal spray some people have also made homemade iodine eye drops. I don't know the recipe but perhaps a search on the forum might bring something up. There are 1% povidone iodine eye creams that are commercially prepared. I wonder if both a nasal spray application and eye drop application might be of benefit in your situation. Here is a link to PubMed about the Ocular Application of Povidone Iodine: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1705857/ - which once again states " It has a very broad antimicrobial spectrum, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, given enough contact time in vitro " I have always been impressed with this PubMed article about the eventual and effective use of povidone iodine as a nasal spray in a neurological unit plagued with klebsiella pnuemoniae that was resistant to preparations similar to those used with MRSA over an 11 month period. Iodine rocks! > > Hi! > I have always had a tendency to watery eyes. For the last month or so I have > had permanently watery eyes. Guest guest
The next time you need to do something similar, just use oil of some sort - it will nourish and clean the wood at the same time without the side effects of chemicals. I hope you find some relief soon. Guest guest
Regarding bacteria in and around the eyes ... I remembered that there have always been cautions about mascara being a fertile ground for bacteria growth or blocking glands on the eyelids so there are a few do's and don'ts regarding it: http://www.consumerreports.org/health/healthy-living/beauty-personal-care/cosmet\ ics/7-safety-tips-for-mascara-wearers-5-07/overview/0507_mascara_tips_ov.htm > > > > > > Hi! > > > I have always had a tendency to watery eyes. Guest guest
My eyes used to be watery when I awakened in the morning but they have stopped. Taking higher dosages of iodine did the trick I think. I also applied iodine topically over my sinuses. Now, it only happens if I slept poorly or not at all. I consider it to be inflammation which iodine fixes. I am back to my normal weight now, can fit in my old pants. That means less inflammation.
