I am forwarding this to the list from the copy Onelist sent me. For some

reason, several

of your messages have never shown up, even after they were approved.

Vanished in

Cyberspace or something. This has happened several times in the last two

weeks, just with

your e-mails, don't know what else to add. Maybe the one I approved will

show up later in our boxes.

And again I would appreciate it if any Clubmember would copy the transcript

and send it to the list.

Well, for me it's been a bit on the high side for the first time in a long

time. Last Monday, the first day of the cruise, I made the Committment to

stick with my food plan for one week, and I did. I flubbed only once by

having some chips one evening when the bag was offered to me, but after 3 or

so chips I saw what I was doing and stopped. All my meals have been on-plan.

life!

As long as I keep my goals realistic, I'll reach them. This past week it was

to eat all meals according to my written plan. I have the same goal for this

week. My dinners for the week are chosen and the menu hung in the kitchen;

all meals for the week are shopped for, including allowable snacks. I even

have the menu all set for Sunday's Mother's Day Dinner, because I *know*

I'll be doing the cooking.

As far as exercise goals go, well, I *plan* on doing a tape at least 3 days.

I have too much to do to promise to do one every day.

Water is another problem. Tomorrow I sit on line at the motor vehicle

inspection station. Some years I get through in an hour, a bad year I might

be there for 4. In the car, alone, with no access to a rest room. The only

liquids I'll have until I get home will be a sip of water with my asthma

pill. Maybe I'll stop drinking by 6pm tonight, just in case.

So, how about the rest of you? Where is *your* motivation level?

that I found myself always concentrating on the numbers and not what was really going on within myself and the little victories that were happening daily, but because the negatives were more noticeable, I didn’t see the clearly. In fact, each and every day I had something that was worthwhile to note. Some days I took the extra time to put coconut oil on my skin, or I stopped eating without thinking about it, or I took a walk. I need to pay more attention to the positives, the small things that go right in my day

Thanks ... I know when I focus on the numbers I start to go crazy and over board with it. I think the best I have done is when I stay away from the bad carbs and just pay attention to eating when I am hungry and stopping when I am full/satisfied. Maybe this week I will start reading my new books. I got the Bob Harper one also "are you ready" or something like that.

Sounds like you are doing VERY well! Congrats on a good week!

I was thinking that in my move away from calorie counting (still experimental for me) that I found myself always concentrating on the numbers and not what was really going on within myself and the little victories that were happening daily, but because the negatives were more noticeable, I didn’t see the clearly. In fact, each and every day I had something that was worthwhile to note. Some days I took the extra time to put coconut oil on my skin, or I stopped eating without thinking about it, or I took a walk. I'm going to take yesterday's weigh in for this week. I am not sure if I will back it up further to Fridays, but thinking the Saturday weigh-in is a more accurate weight for the week (I've watched the cycle of my weeks LOL)

Anyway.

Went to bed around 10 p.m. last night and slept til 8 this morning, only up once during the night. That is a bonus because there are nights I am up 2-3 times for various reasons, not just the little girls' room.

You know, I need to quit being so hard on myself. I thought I was a slacker last week in the exercise department and today I was logging all of my stats for the week (weight, steps logged, exercise, etc) from my written journal to the computer programs and I exercised 5 out of 7 days this past week, so really, that's pretty good! I know ultimately we "should" do something all 7 days of the week, but I also believe it is ok to take 1-2 days off during the week if necessary.

So, it's ok! I'm ok LOL!!

What else. It's windy, cold, cloudy today, so thinking it's going to be an indoors exercise type of day and the weekend basement project may need put off until it warms up a little bit. + crabby knee + working in the cold/damp weather of the basement = not happiness (LOL!!) It's not like it HAS to be done this weekend, it's just a project I know needs done and will do when weather is better.

I hope you have all had a great, relaxing and refreshing weekend - getting ready for the new week!

Kids only have school 4.5 days this week, then they are out for a week for spring break. Hunny will be here at the end of next week for the Elton 's concert weekend! I am so excited. I cannot remember when I have ever been to a live concert. Wait, I know we went to one in junior high school for extra credit in choir class, but I cannot for the life of me remember who we saw. I remember calling my friends' mother , our chauffeur LOL!!

What a fun trip down memory lane....

Have a great one, friends!
