We take this opportuntiy to let you know that, for strengthening your present work , staff training is possible without stretching your budgets. We, at INSA-India announce that registrations are open for two of our trainers programs: 1. COMMUNITY HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT TRAINERS PROGRAM {CHDTP} { 13TH JANUARY-22ND FEBRUARY, 2003} 2. PROJECT PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION {PPI} { 29TH JANUARY - 31ST JANUARY, 2003} While the first course is for mid-level managers/professionals from registered organisations, the second workshop is for managerial staff. Both Courses are in Bangalore. The costs for board, lodge, training materials and tuition fee for both courses is borne by INSA-India. The registration fee for the CHDTP is Rs 3000/- of which Rs 1000/- is returned a year later on completion of follow-up commitments. The registration fee for the PPI is Rs 1500/-. The CHDTP is an interactive program which has enabled participants to set up cost effective, culturally approapriate sustainable programmes in remote areas of India, Nepal and Bangladesh. It is possible, through this course for your staff to identify , practice integrated approaches for participatory community appraisal, practical approaches to problem identification, validation, community based health and development inputs, methods for integrating health and development, management, project planning evaluation and training skills, resource utilization, fund raising . The curriculum for each group is unique to their specified learning needs and is drawn up by the participants during the first 3 days. All participants who attend the 6 weeks CHDTP will be offered follow-up services through a visit to their areas for on-site facilitation and a week long workshop at the end of a year - at the cost of INSA-India. Application forms are availble for Rs 100/- addressed to the PROGRAM DIRECTOR-INSAINDIA.
