Guest guest
, Wow, it looks like Malenah will be in the same boat as , Malenah will be 3 in July, I bet she'll be close to Kirsten's weight! I agree, ASL was so helpful, I didn't think to use it right away, I saw on a news special how great it was for baby's. I starting using it that day, what a life saver! Maybe Malenah has graduate from having food issues to an official picky eatter! Thanks for all the sweet advise! kk---------- Forwarded Message ----------Hi KKIf it is any consolation, my 3 year old daughter Kirsten only weighs 28 pounds. She is also shorter than other kids her age. She is a dinky little thing and can be a fussy eater rather than having feeding problems. She wears clothes that are for kids a year younger than her. She is in speech therapy and has been for over a year now. We opted to teach her sign language which was particularly useful at the 2 - 3 yrs of age. It prevented any frustration from her or us. She has dropped a lot of the signs as she prefers to speak but still uses the odd sign if she needs to. We went to a Christmas party last weekend where the music was deafening and Kirsten didn't bother speaking but just signed every time she wanted something! It is a fabulous way to communicate and I can highly recommend it. April may agree that sign language is not only for the hearing impaired. All the best Parsons (U.K)> > > April, how old is Micah?
