Guest guest
Deb- Welcome, welcome! Good to see you here!! I won't unsub 'cuz you are here, ya nut....no one else will either! You trying to scare people away, or what?! Maybe the comment about running outside in your b-day suit would scare your neighbors and possibly some people here....But, there is NO way you would do that!! I double dog dare you to do it! (j/k) I agree, though - this moment of Spring we are having today makes you want to do something crazy! About darn time we have a nice day, huh? Dinner sounds good at your house. Hubby is at work today, poor guy, and me and the kidlets are going to have breakfast for dinner on account of me not being motivated at all! Easy dinner means I can make my Mom some special lotion and get it in the mail to her for her b-day. Yippee....play time! I can help you with that lye fear of yours, btw! Anyways - Welcome to ya! Guest guest
Hi, - [waving madly & having a hot flash at the same time!] TY- it's good to be here. I even have a question for you! Is parchment paper the same- or similar enough- to butcher's paper? Oh- isn't it so great to meet in person? Although you were hard to get near, because so many people want to talk to you. This year I'll bully them all out of the way. Hee. The summer meeting. Didn't we have a ball? I would LOVE to get everyone together. Hey, List- do you have gatherings, too? Have a lot of you met? We DID have a wild time at ours [New England Soapmakers]. Only problem with it was that it was only one day. Hrmph. That is NOT enough time to talk to everyone, eat, listen to all the speakers, eat, have swaps, eat, talk some more...... *I* think they should be 3-day events. LOL Deb > Hey, Deb.....I'm right here.....I just joined last week. Guest guest
Oh- sorry to be rude. Tell your husband that lunch was hot chicken sandwiches w/ gravy. And completely disgusting- dinner was meatballs. Will he be ok w/ that? <g> > Hey, Deb.....I'm right here.....I just joined last week. Guest guest
Yippee- Hi, Becky! Everyone- Becky is one of my lye therapists!! No lie! We left the NE gathering this summer.. walking across the lawn.. and Becky kept PROMISING ME I would not harm myself, my DH, our child [Evil Boy], other people, the environment.... So you guys were alone today? DH working OT? I'll bet the kids loved having breakfast for dinner! LOL How did they like the salted herring? I see your lotion adventure has turned out really well!! What did you make for your mom? And..... would you be willing to share a semblance of your recipe? The 1st one? And since you dared me.... Nah- we now have new neighbors w/ teenage sons. Grump. Our privacy is shot. No more nekkid. Which is terrifying-enough when I'm alone & looking in the mirror. No reason to upset other people. <g> Deb > Deb- > Welcome, welcome! Good to see you here!! Guest guest
Hi Deb, Welcome! I met you at the NE gathering while I was hanging out with and Judy. I only use parchment paper because I had a terrible time with cphp sticking to freezer paper. I think it might work better for M & P too. I also can reuse the parchment lots more times than freezer paper. H. ----- Original Message ----- Is parchment paper the same- or similar enough- to butcher's paper? Guest guest
- w/ the beautiful long, curly hair? I wish there had been more time to get to know each other. Especially the 3 of you- you were all having a good time. <g> Have you used the parchment w/ plain old CP? Does it make a difference? It's nice to 'see' you again! Deb > Hi Deb, > Welcome! Guest guest
Hi Deb, I have long brown curly hair but it certainly isn't beautiful by any stretch of the imagination. I had it pulled back off my face with a headband if that helps. I also was the one who was fooling around and nearly fell through the window screen *RIGHT* after said not to get near them! I don't think I actually got to talk to you until right before everyone was leaving but I did get to see your undies earlier! LOL Umm...yeah, Judy, & I were having a great time!! They were hysterical and so were you! My ribs actually hurt for a few days after. I've never made CP so I couldn't tell you that. I have seen other people say they make CP and use parchment paper though. I prefer it, but that's just me and I do things differently than most. H. Guest guest
[Don't anyone listen to her- her hair is beautiful!] I'm pretty sure I would be able to pick you out of a police line-up, ! LOL I didn't see you 'almost' fall through the screen- but I'll be sure to ask about it when I talk to her in a few minutes. <g> And the 3 of you looked pretty serious at times, and I didn't want to intrude. Until we got to the 'grandmother' arms... or, 'batwings', as I call them. Oh, no- you weren't there for my underpants, were you? Unfortunately, they seem to fit better these days... I'm joining a gym next week. Grump. I see how there could be a difference between CP & what you do- and the papers might really differ from one to the other. Suzanne also uses contact paper at times, I think. The initials do get me confused at times, though! LOL At some point, I want to try HPCPOP. If there is such a thing. <g> Deb > Hi Deb, > I have long brown curly hair but it certainly isn't beautiful by any > stretch of the imagination. Guest guest
Thank you, everyone, for your very kind words about my song. When I find the way to record and download it, I will get it on this site. Welcome Ky!!! I've only found this site in early November. It's been a great support for me. I think as a mom, I have thought about my daughter's BPES more than she actually does. She says it doesn't bother her. She's a beautiful petite brunette. She wears glasses because of nearsightedness and just found that her astigmatism has gotten worse. She's been wearing more makeup and is wearing a little more on her eyes and it's amazing how it actually makes her "little eyes" look "bigger". She's been in touch with on this site, but because right now our computer is getting repaired elsewhere, she isn't able to chat with anyone. I love this site and I am thankful to have a new found release for asking questions, sharing and reading. Thanks all!
