Folks, what in the world is going on in OUR military. This Lt.Cmdr., the

Marine Lt.Col. that got caught lying about the Osprey maintenance

records, the very recent Air Force Academy drug scandal, Cheyene

Mountain(NORAD) drug scandal, the Col. and his wife based in Columbia

that was shipping cocaine back to the States and a host of senior

leaders that won't wake up to the reality that the AVIP is nothing but a

good ole boy, retirement padding, troop sickening, rank making scheme.

What a way to run our nations defense!!!! And just recently the Air

Force was using the MTV mobile truck as a recruiting mechanism in

Florida. From what little I've seen on MTV, we had better get ready if

this is what the Air Force or any other service is using as a draw to

get their numbers up. BTW, I haven't seen the final count, but from Jan.

to July 2000, the Army had recruited 357 individuals with felony charges

against them and the Navy had taken in 165 of these folks. That

according to the USA Today, July 2000.

As Dr. Fisher stated, if the Osprey doesn't get us the anthrax vaccine

will, and if neither one of these two debacles doesn't do us in, some

commander will while he/she is higher than a kite or more concerned

about selling a nickle bag to the troops.

Navy Officer Gets Prison In Drug Case

By W. Crawley, Staff Writer

A Navy lieutenant commander arrested for selling drugs to undercover

officers in May 2000 pleaded guilty at

his general court-martial yesterday and was sentenced to five years in

prison.

As part of a plea agreement, Lt. Cmdr. Loeh, 40, admitted

conspiring with two enlisted sailors to

possess and distribute the illegal designer drug Ecstasy. Besides

conspiracy, he pleaded guilty to several

charges involving drugs, assault and disobeying orders against

fraternizing with enlisted personnel.

Military judge Capt. Fagen initially sentenced Loeh to 10 years'

incarceration, but the time was

reduced to the maximum set in the plea agreement between Loeh and Navy

attorneys.

An additional charge of conduct unbecoming an officer, for alleged

homosexual activities and the distribution

of ketamine and LSD, was dropped in the plea bargain.

Loeh's rank insignia and ribbons were stripped from his khaki uniform

before he was led in handcuffs from

the courthouse at the San Diego Naval Station at 32nd Street.

A 19-year veteran, Loeh was a maintenance officer on the aircraft

carrier Constellation when he was arrested

May 31 along with the two sailors after selling Ecstasy to undercover

San Diego police officers near Loeh's

Chollas View condominium.

The Navy took over jurisdiction in the case from civilian authorities in

July, and formal military charges were

issued against Loeh in December.

The enlisted men arrested with Loeh, Petty Officers 3rd Class

Larck and Lenhoff, will face

courts-martial in coming weeks on drug charges.

A Navy spokesman said he didn't know if Loeh would be held in a military

prison or a federal civilian prison
