Guest guest
As no evidence has been presented as yet by the company except extensive advertising - on cnbc - and other channels, I would lay bets on srl 3. Medical bodies may approach the advertising association of India to request a stoppage of such ads till cleared by MOH or any other prof body Dr Ratti E-mail: <ratti2@...>
Guest guest
These are excellent questions. I try always to balance a state of open-mindedness with a healthy skepticism, as is evinced here. Is there a website for this company? (www.veronicalabs.com)(Moderator) Other questions to ask: 1) WHAT herbs are used? The answer--and this *MAY* be legitimate--may be that it is a " trade secret " to avoid usurpation of rights by avaricious pharmaceutical companies, hungry for intellectual property that they can exploit and rape people from hard-earned savings. However, a refusal to answer does raise a red flag. 2) What is the COST of the intervention? This should not be unreasonable. Botanicals are in general relatively inexpensive. 3) What EVIDENCE do they have to support claims made? Often, this will consist of testimonials. Perhaps, it may include one or two individuals and their bloodwork. Insist on talking to individuals who claim to have undergone the treatment. 4) EXAMINE the claims made. If they claim that people revert to HIV-negative, it may either be a genuine mistake (the person was HIV+ by ELISA test but not actually infected--which is an issue of testing for a separate thread). Otherwise, it's pretty unlikely and quite possibly just a lie. 5) Inquire as to SIDE EFFECTS that the intervention may have. There are other red flags that may suggest yet another set of bullshit claims being made by parasites and thieves. Should this be the case based on evidence, raise a hue and cry against them. Sadly, such hucksters obscure the genuine value that botanical interventions may have in slowing disease progression, offsetting ARV side effects and managing other HIV-related symptoms. M.
