U.S. Ambassador Commits $120 Million to Fight AIDS in India

United States Ambassador to India, Blackwill, spoke

on " Fighting HIV/AIDS in India: America's Role " at a recent luncheon

meeting in Chennai, organized by Family Health International and the

Indian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS. The ambassador

committed $120 million over the next five years to fight the HIV/AIDS

epidemic in India.
