On Tuesday, July 18, 2000 at 1:00 PM, the US House of Representatives

Committee on Government Reform and Oversight has scheduled a hearing on

" Mercury in Medicine: Are We Taking Unnecessary Risk? " The Committee,

chaired by Representative Dan Burton, will investigate the possibility

that children receive toxic levels of mercury through their routine

childhood immunizations and that mercury may be a contributing factor in

the near epidemic levels of autism.

I am asking you to please call C-Span at 1-765-464-3080 or e-mail

events@... and ask them to broadcast the hearing. This very

important call will help further the investigation into one of the

causes of autism. We need as many people as possible to call, so please

ask your friends and family members to contact C-Span as well. Thank
