I recently circulated an article on a baby aspirin's new use as a blood

thinning or anti-clotting therapy for patients with heart conditions. Although

the digestive problems with long term use were mentioned no alternative was

given only a statement that natural and efective alternatives exist.

One is Cod Liver Oil or other fish oil. According to Dr. V. , MD

one tablespoon daily will usually be sufficient while 2 tablespoonfuls is still

safe and will lower the risk of cardivascular disease. It's conceivably possible

to overdose by taking so much fish oil that blood will not clot normally. However

you'd have to take 5 or 6 tablespoons daily for this to become a risk. A new

natural product Nattokinase has been shown to dissolve clots. The Nattokinase

enzyme has been available for hndreds of years in the Japanese frmented soy

dish " natto " Dr. recommended 138 mg of Nattokinase, 3 times a day
