Guest guest Posted April 6, 2006 Report Share Posted April 6, 2006 Horizons Report -Refocusing on HIV Prevention An increased focus on HIV prevention could dramatically reduce new infections over the next decade, as noted in an article in the Feb 6 issue of Science. The latest issue of the Horizons Report responds to a growing call for a renewed focus on HIV prevention by highlighting practical findings from operations research studies conducted among key populations in Kenya and South Africa. These findings have important program and policy implications for moving the HIV prevention agenda forward in Africa and elsewhere. Horizons is implemented by the Population Council in partnership with the International Center for Research on Women, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, PATH, Tulane University, Family Health International, and s Hopkins University.
