to the cause, and to the human capacity for a change of mind and heart (and

thank God for this!), that people who at first thought they might not contribute

have indeed done so. That makes me more hopeful abt changes for the better in

Kenya itself!

Janet,

Correction, the Catholic diocese of Eldoret will get their funds from

Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, Cambridge, Mass - Lead Wambuibgu

I think you missed the Sang who asked everybody not to

contribute but according to Mkawasi has now pledged $100, I am also

hoping that his is not the end of our efforts and more members

Kenyans step up, as you saw the needs are enormous!

Dear Members,

We now have $1400 in pledges for the Kenya Red Cross, and $1300 for

our nonprofit members. We hope to send funds to the Gender Violence

Recovery Unit (of a hospital in Nairobi), UNICEF, and the Catholic

Diocese of Eldoret.

Can we get another $1200 (at least) in pledges for these 3

entities? Also, everyone, check to make sure everything below is

correct, and if you do want your contrib to go to someplace other

than what is designated or described above, please let us know.

We would like to send funds THIS WEEKEND, or by Monday next at the

latest, to the Red Cross and to our members. If you have not yet

fulfilled your pledge, please do so now, as the need on the ground is

desperate and immediate.

Immense thanks, everyone, and greatest blessings, Janet
