Guest guest
<< I visited this dentist this morning and I asked him about chelating. He mentioned a referral to a doc trained in chelation who uses EDTA. Is this a chelator for mercury? Is this administered intravenously? >> EDTA is admnistered intravenously. It is not effective for mercury detox. Andy
Guest guest
EDTA doesn't work for mercury. My wife tried it at the direction of her doctor with no effect. Then she did DMSA and it workes great! It wiped her out while she was on it, but it was worth the discomfort to get the mercury out. It worked for my son too! Guest guest
EDTA is IV and approved for lead. Amy Holmes, M.D., and others say it does not work on mercury. DMSA, which is taken by mouth, does. Guest guest
Ed, When I say it worked, I mean that it removed the mercury. Testing for mercury before and after the DMSA showed the mercury was almost all removed. At least it was down to the lowest possible levels, and now my wife is no longer ill. That's even more important to me. I have her back from the dead!
