Guest guest
Margaret, this is in all aspects a very sensitive issue, especially to those who forbid it's practise, so i will give my reason on what Islam has to say to this practise. In islamic communities it si strictly forbidden for a woman to marry an uncircumsized man, the reason being is that in islam both couples have to take a ritual or a form ablutionary bath after intercourse, and is very bad to just put on your clothes and go after that, it is said that during this process the uncircumsized penis takes in a lot of fluids from the penetration which if not thoroughly cleaned leads to an unpleasant odour and a risk of infections due to accumulation of impurities under the foreskin, that was 1400 years ago when this was declared long before the emergence of AIDS, and it was said that the foreskin also retains droplets of urine, those are some of the reasons why muslims have to remove the foreskin, purely health reasons. Bostammy cut-o-map tells me that most of the world is un-cut. so what is allthis thing about the cut when its actually not the norm ?the only country in east africa in which most tribes do the cut iskenya. infact only the wagisu (bukusus of uganda) do the cut in uganda.the obsession with "cut or no cut" has been a lie peddled over the last45 years to deny the un-cut a place at the seat of power. there aremore un-cut-ted tools that got the population of the world to6,602,224,175 than cut-ted ones... Guest guest
Otieno Mbare good job for your research.Remember that when you research you develop respect for everybody's culture, every nation in the world has culture,a society with no culture is as a good as dead. The prime minister needs to be very careful about this issue,am not luo, neither am i a man,but i understand that, there are sensitive issues that one has to use caution when adressing. There are individuals who will adress this issue with malice and prejudice, they need to understand that there are bigger issues to adress in our country other than this petty issue.Kenyans have no employment, poverty, insecurity, corruption, cheating, stealing, lows standard in education ect.my cut-o-map tells me that most of the world is un-cut. so what is allthis thing about the cut when its actually not the norm ?the only country in east africa in which most tribes do the cut iskenya. infact only the wagisu (bukusus of uganda) do the cut in uganda.the obsession with "cut or no cut" has been a lie peddled over the last45 years to deny the un-cut a place at the seat of power. there aremore un-cut-ted tools that got the population of the world to6,602,224,175 than cut-ted ones...
