Guest guest
Hi Kim, We too have a lot of trouble with constipation. And since Gavin is such a picky eater, it's difficult to get him to eat many fruits or vegetables. We have used Herb Lax, from Shaklee, for the past year, and have had much success with it. We cut the pill in half and cruch it. We then add it either to his drink or to his food, and he never knows!!! Sorry I've never heard of the Poop Goop, but would be interested in hearing about this as well, as it sounds very interesting!!! Good luck. Guest guest
Um, I'm not sure that this was called poop goop, but here is a recipe that worked well for Heidi: Blend together with orange juice to a pudding consistency: some raisins a few prunes a few dates a few dried apricots a peeled orange.(take out the seeds) Keep mixture covered in fridge and give your child one tablespoon at a time, 1-3 times a day till you see how he/she will respond to it. We ended up giving Heidi actually a heaping Tbsp. once or twice a day.She loved the stuff. It was a treat for her. I have another fix for constipation that involves a supplement that is not discussed on this list. If interested, email me privately. It also worked wonders for Heidi and there was no work involved in preparation. Good Luck!! You can buy it over the counter at drugstores - we got it at Eckerd. It smells and looks like blackstrap molasses.....but costs 6x as much! LOL. Good luck. Guest guest
I don't have the poop goop recipe. However, I used to have lots of trouble getting to drink at this age. The best solution I came up with was to buy fun cups and glasses. Anything with a drawing or design, or a funny shape. She literally had a shelf in a lower cabinet in our kitchen filled with these glasses and cups. I would let her choose which one she wanted to drink out of, and it made a difference. She really would drink well out of those. -- Sharon, Mom to (9, DS) and (6) I am also having lots of trouble getting her to drink all help would be appreciated Thanks Kim down under Aust Mum to 6 Sheridan 2.5 ds and Ash 6mths
