Guest guest
Hi everyone I just needed to complain so if you aren't interested not to worry. As some of you may know, I have had (8ds) scheduled for surgery yesterday. We have gone through two oral surgeons, dentist visits, pre-admission bloodwork, pediatrician, etc. Not an easy task right? Especially since every visit disrupts school and myself as I have to take him to school afterwards which is about 45 minutes away. So, last Sunday I had invited friends for dinner. They had previously invited us and I felt it was my turn. Well, they bring their children to my house with snot pouring out of their noses! I was, horrified to say the least and seriously considered telling them we would make it another time but didn't. I should have, because of course now has a sinus infection which cancelled surgery. I would never bring my children to someone's home when they are sick. picks up any kind of cold or what have you in the winter. Winter is just not a good time of year for him. Is it me, do I have to say to people, please don't bring your children OR yourselves if you are sick? Hello!!!!!!! It doesn't take rocket science to realize that isn't nice. Well, now we are on two weeks of antibiotics for , before we can reschedule the surgery and have all the bloodwork and visits again. Besides that I caught it too! I am just very frustrated with the insensitivity of some people. Thanks for listening Dawn (mom to who is still my little shark with all those extra teeth)
