Guest guest Posted January 4, 2001 Report Share Posted January 4, 2001 Hi Shay I'm glad to see somebody is around. I haven't seen an e-mail from anyone in CNYsoapmakers in about a week. I was starting to think we had a problem with our addy. I guess everybody is taking a breather after all the commotion of the holidays. As far as why I was up at 2:52AM, it's been the norm for me about the last year and a half. See, I'm going through a tough time. After having worked for a major company for 26 years, I had to turn a supervisor in to higher ups for sexual harassment. Then I started having panic attacks at work & had to go on disability. Every time I tried walking into work, an anxiety attack started so I ended up not going back. I've been on medication since then, go to counseling, and am in the middle of a lawsuit against the company & the individual. What makes it even harder on me is the fact that my husband is a Supervisor there. He supports me 100% but it's been rough on both of us. I made real good money, haven't been able to go back to any job due to the anxiety I have & decided I'd be better off trying an at-home business. That's why I started doing soaps. I won't get rich at it, but at least I'm my own boss, make my own hours & I LOVE it. I'm 49 years old and to go take some job for $8.00/hr someplace and start all over with a company at the bottom of the ladder just doesn't make sense. I was approved for Workman's Comp but I just now started getting payments. Anyhow, if you've ever gone through bad anxiety, you'll know how bad your sleeping patterns can get. I average about 3 - 4 hrs. a night if I'm lucky. There have been times where I was awake 48 hrs. straight. Thank God for the computer keeping me company in the middle of the night. A lot of times I'll just sit here & play Bingo for hours on end. Well, that's enough rambling about my problems. Back to business.....I'm looking for someone that's in the market to share a packaging order with me from Nashville Wraps. I don't know whether this would be considered a co-op or not. It's not that I need to meet a minimum order, I just don't need all that comes per pack. All the items are " on sale " until 2/4/01 so I've got time to see if anyone is interested. There have been many times where there was something bothering me like a lot and i woke up thinking about it not being able to sleep. (Yes thank God for the puter, it's awful quiet and eerie being up all nite) But nothing like sexual harrasment. Sorry. What are you thinking of getting from Nashvile Wraps? I am hiding.....The past few days of snow removal from our house, dads, my sisters and I'm keeping a neighbors driveway cleared out has brought out a loony 2 doors down from me. The other day my hubby and I had just finished up our driveway and he was on the tail end of clearing off our neighbors roof when she comes storming out of her house yelling at the top of her lungs " I don't get any f---in help around here!! " goes down to the end of her driveway and starts shoveling where the snowplow had dragged in a bit of snow and with every shovel came a cuss word. Mind you my son and another neighbor girl were down to my dads right next door to this lady and could hear everything she was saying. Out the door I fly and down the street my hubby goes. I just stand and watch while he goes and gathers up the kids. The lady shut up at that point cause she never carries on where there can be 2 people to witness her ranting. Yesterday after my son got off the bus we were walking back to the house and decided to stop at my sisters....after our visit she drove us around the corner to our house and the lady was standing outside on her front steps looking at us as we were saying our good-byes and she once again mumbling. We were only able to pick out what sounded like cussing here and there....her face was beet red. As my sister pulled away ....I was poking around in one of my many bird feeders and went around the side of my house to go in....she screamed " You f---in b---h " I heard it and went right to my kitchen window to see her looking at my house...she turned and went in...slamming her door. Then she opened her door again and yelled the same thing over again. I didn't do anything to her...I was saying good bye to my sister and standing in my driveway. There's little I can do....I've complained to the park managment and they have had a ton of complaints, but do little about the situation because it's her word against the complainers and she never admits to doing anything wrong and says the other person started it. My time is being spent away from my front window so I don't have a picture taken of me by her (another one of her hobbies is take pictures of what she thinks people are doing wrong) Seeing as she knows how to work the system and never have any witnesses to her harrassing her victems I'm about ready to break out our video camera to try and catch her harassing me and cussing where kids can hear her. Now I've been known to cuss here and there...I'm no angel and I know my son has heard me cuss, but that was under our roof.....never where anyone else could hear and I don't expect an adult neighbor to conduct their self in this manner where children other than her own can hear her. Yes she has a child and she screams at him horribly....to top this all off shes a school teacher. oh man I sound like a Mrs Kravits (sp) can't help but know her business though....she makes it a point to announce it loudly to the neighborhood. Thank god she isn't a teacher in our school district.....as she yelled to the lady across the street... " The f-----in a---holes fired me here! " I moved from a small town and from a slum lord apartment...I thought I was getting away from this sort of stuff. I swear if I wanted to live like this I would have moved to the west side of Syracuse. My son can't go outside without someone with him to protect him from what the kids in the neighborhood call " The Crazy Lady " oh well......enough of where I've been.
