Guest guest
Wow Sandy! You weren't kidding! Fantastic! I just got through reading it. And mannn, I love the opening paragraph about killing and eating the weakest person! The entire article was wonderfully enlightening. One of the things that stood out for me was the mention of a rubella vaccinee causing birth defects by coming in contact with a pregnant woman. One of the arguments that provaxxers always use is that everyone should have the rubella vaccine in order to PREVENT such birth defects. So I find it ironic that they have never considered the possibility of the vaccinee causing birth defects. And the part about applying police power in public health where it was upheld when it came to vaccinating and then denied when the same power was used to limit the hours bakers could work. Even before the author said as much, I was thinking, " Well of course, the commercial interests always win! " Thank you Sandy for alerting us to this article. I'm off now to Mothering to put a plug in for your site and to post the article. Guest guest
Kathleen, Thanks so much for the feedback! I just finished it too and also thought it was fabulous. I did a search of the web on Mr. Lippmanm. Apparently he was a law student at the time (since graduated) and has a BS in physics from NYU and a Ph.D. in physics from s Hopkins. He has also run for office quite often and is well-known for his " anti-vaccination " views. I think we should all consider supporting him next time he runs. I wrote him an email thanking him for the article. By the way, the article was sent to me by someone - we have her to thank. Guest guest
Well, at least I typed it wrong - noticed that after I'd sent it!
