Dear Listers,

Once again the Morrow County Paper has written an article on Autism. I am pleased with them raising awareness in the area but am not thrilled with the inaccuracies.

I would like to address the inaccuracies in a polite but firm way. Those of you who know me know that I can be somewhat overly aggressive in this area LOL :-) I am asking for your input so that I may edit my response in a way that will allow them to reprint what I write :-)

or do you know how to post this to the list for me as I know the aaa list doesn't accept attachments, also Andy, Bernie or Kathy could you do the same for the Mercury list?

Here is the article: BTW Dr. Tim Rheinscheld is the school psychologist at the school my 5 yo son attends. They have accomadated us a little by allowing my son's therapists (paid for by me) to accompany him to school. The Board of MR/DD contributes $3000 per year to my son's education but this is the last year as my son is approaching school age.

The CAFS program offers an additional $4500 for a total of $7500 per year. They DO NOT do ABA at his school.
